The Mitsui Suishoen Annex, a villa belonging to the Mitsui zaibatsu that was located in Kowakudani, Hakone, and a registered tangible cultural property, was relocated exactly as it was. Located in the middle of a vast forest, the hotel uses the finest wood, unthinkable today, and has achieved a traditional space that is modern yet relevant today, using the best of the architectural techniques of the time. Blown glass windows that play with the flickering of light. Flower transoms, shoin study... Take a moment to relax and immerse yourself in this space that still retains the spirit of the Taisho era.
