As the aircraft is more than 8 years old, virtually the full cost can be deducted within the first12months.

Each flight incurs only fuel and airport charges. (See the simulator below.)

When you're not flying, we put your aircraft to work — turning idle time into income and helping reduce your annual ownership costs.
Before you buy, the biggest question is how you'll exit. ARIAir has four exit strategies readyforyou.
ARIAir finds your share's next owner through our owner community and our network of partner tax advisors and financial institutions, and handles the sale on your behalf. It's an exit that doesn't rely solely on the open market.
Through our partner aircraft brokers, we also offer a route to sell the aircraft or your share on domestic and international markets. This exit route can be pursued in parallel with the first one.
Offset the gain on sale by acquiring another aircraft, carrying the tax deferral forward to your next aircraft. ARIAir can also arrange an upgrade to a larger aircraft.
Whether you want to scale down your share (for example, from 2% to 1%) or exit partway through, we can accommodate either. Finding the next owner typically takes 3–6 months (varies by aircraft and timing; not guaranteed3-6 months).
*Share sales are subject to demand within the owner community and the broader market. ARIAir does not guarantee the sale price or the time required to sell. For tax implications upon sale, please consult your own tax advisor.
From full ownership to fractional ownership that starts with a smaller investment — choose the option that fits your budget and goals.

Simply select a plan and your pre-tax profit, and we'll estimate how much tax you could defer in the first year.
Choose a route to see, aircraft by aircraft, the estimated cost of chartering versus flying as an owner (fuel costs only).
You own the aircraft, and when you're not flying it, ARIAir — Japan's leading charter service — puts it to work by selling seats to third-party passengers. That revenue offsets your maintenance costs, significantly reducing your actual annual cost of ownership. Under a private operating model (Part 91), there is no mechanism to return charter revenue to the owner. However, our group's holding company holds an air carrier certificate (Part 135) and operates the aircraft, enabling charter revenue to be returned to owners infullcompliancewiththelaw..
*Charter revenue offsets maintenance costs. Depending on utilization, the aircraft may even generate a net profit. Figures are illustrative only.
*ARIAir holds a Type 2 Travel Agency Registration (No. 8374), a Domestic Air Transport Agency License (No. 263), and a Haneda Airport On-Premises Business Permit (No. 118). Aircraft sales are handled by Aero Labo International, and operations and maintenance are carried out by our holding company (a licensed air carrier).
Here is the one-year profit and loss of an aircraft actually purchased by an owner.Through charter operations, the ownership costs were almost entirely offset.
| Charter revenue (¥15 million × 12 months) | +¥180 million |
| Operator's share (30%) | −¥54 million |
| Owner's share (70%) = Owner revenue | +¥126 million |
| Variable costs (handling, fuel, etc.; annualized) | −¥60 million |
| Fixed costs (unscheduled maintenance, hangar fees, insurance, pilots) | −¥70 million |
Haneda ⇄ Thailand round tripcosts ¥12.5 million (fuel only).Once a month, that's ¥150 milliona year to travel the world on your own wings.
With low fixed costs, it's ideal for experiencing ownership for the first time. You can start with a small fractional share.
*In the event of unscheduled repairs or other unexpected costs, owners will be billed in proportion to their share. Figures are approximate.
Shared ownership only works — for both depreciation and exit — when it is protected by proper contracts and registration. This is ARIAir's standard framework.
All terms are clearly set out, including ownership percentages, cost sharing, owner use, charter revenue allocation, and transfer rules (reviewed by our legal counsel).
Owner names and their respective shares are recorded in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's aircraft registry. This satisfies the requirements for depreciation and cost allocation (based on an approach reviewed by our tax advisor).
ARIAir serves as your single point of contact, centrally managing the operator, maintenance, insurance, and ground handling. Management fees are fixed.
Actual costs such as insurance, parking, crew, and maintenance are handled as deposits and advances from owners, with an itemized statement reported every month.
The aircraft is covered by full insurance and third-party liability insurance. Flights are operated by a licensed air carrier, with maintenance and training conducted based on national standards.
Every co-owner undergoes credit checks and screening to confirm they have no ties to organized crime or other anti-social forces before joining. It's a community where you can share the same aircraft with confidence.
After verifying anti-social forces screening and company size, we present specific, high-quality aircraft over 8 years old.
Shares are clearly defined and registered. ARIAir handles everything from contracts to insurance.
Our holding company (a licensed air carrier) operates the aircraft, monetizing idle time and returning revenue to owners.
We handle the sale or trade-up to another aircraft, allowing the tax deferral to continue.
| Conventional Fractional Ownership (Private Operation) | ARIAir Shared Ownership | |
|---|---|---|
| Operation | Privately operated by the company | Operated by a licensed air carrier |
| Revenue from paid charter | No mechanism | Yes (offsets ownership costs) |
| Ground handling | Additional charge | Free for domestic flights |
| Cost of owner use | Ownership costs + actual costs | Actual costs only (fuel) |
| Exit (sale or trade-up) | Handled case by case | Handled by ARIAir, with continued tax deferral |
| Management effort | Partly self-managed | Managed by ARIAir |

Before presenting any aircraft, we conduct checks through Teikoku Databank, Japan's leading credit research firm and other sources. Aircraft are presented only to qualified clients.

Operations and maintenance are carried out by a government-licensed air carrier. All records are centrally managed to keep the aircraft ready to fly at all times.

Everything from aircraft positioning, cabin crew, trip arrangements, and monthly reports.
